This position will focus on fundraising efforts for the School of Engineering.
Job Summary:
Manages a portfolio of major gift prospects and donors, as well as develops and executes comprehensive fundraising plans for various academic and research programs.Job Description:
- Develops and executes fundraising plans for various academic and research programs.
- Manages a portfolio of major gift donors and prospects, ensuring regular and personalized contact with each donor.
- Collaborates with senior leadership, faculty, and volunteers to identify and prioritize funding opportunities.
- Creates and delivers presentations to individuals and groups to educate them about university programs and funding priorities.
- Writes and submits proposals and reports to donors to provide updates on the impact of their gifts.
- Works collaboratively with other university departments to ensure coordinated fundraising efforts.
- Participates in face-to-face meetings with donors to solicit major gifts.
- May provide guidance to other development staff.
